Tyre compatibility

I have a Mitas E-09 150 / 70-18 Dakar Adventure Rear Tyre in my possession ready for fitment, however I can't get hold of the equivalent front ... can anyone suggest another tyre with a 60% - 80% ish off road grip?  Got the front on back order but there is no sign of it on the horizon ... so looking to mix it up.  Basically which Conti/ Michelin/ Pirelli/Motoz etc?

the most common combination is e 09 back e 10 front.

 

if not mitas then tkc 80 front.

As per Heedcase I am a fan of the scorpion rally. Surprising how well they handle tar. Reasonable price and easy to fit

THANK YOU ... managed to get hold of an E10 Mitas front ... this will suffice for now but will look at the none STR Rally next, they look like a decent option.  Thinking of getting some ordered earlier rather than later just to have on the shelf, it's hard work sourcing tyres at the moment.  No stock in Oz.

Well yeh of course, but having bought a E09 Dakar for the rear it's definitely not for the commute
