Help! Anyone know where these rubber parts go?

ducaticowboy

Question

Hey folks, need some help with some phantom rubber pieces. I was installing some upgrades to my T7 and had all of the body panels off.

After bolting back on the panels, I looked down at my garage floor and saw both of these rubber pieces labeled with an R and an L + some crappy adhesive backing had fallen from somewhere.

I took the panels back off, grabbed a flashlight, And looked for where they might have come from, but no luck. Feels like they materialized out of thin air.

Hoping one of you might know which part of the bike these came from and whether they’re vital or not. Since they both fell out Because the adhesive is so weak, it doesn’t seem super important but I would like to put them back in.

If you look closely on  the back of the panels you will see an outline,  possibly a slightly raised line of where they go. Probably not the end of the world to be without  them  but you may as well refit them...just use a few dabs of superglue.  Cheers,  Steve
