New Tenere owner in NEPA

Hello all,

 

Great forum you all have here; very informative.  I put a down payment on a T7 in mid April and picked it up yesterday at Offroad Motorsports in Jonestown, PA.  I trailered it home and took it for a spin around our "block" to get a feel for it.  I really think this is going to be a keeper and will complement my 2014 FJR1300A.  Very flickable and reasonably comfortable. 

 

I already installed Givi side racks and Dolomiti hard bags.  I'm not a fan of how they attach but they will do the job they are intended to do.  Other short and long term mods on my list are a .90 rear spring, Bark Busters, Oxford heated grips and a yet to be determined skid plate.

Welcome to the forum. I always try to recommend skid plates with linkage protection, Camel ADV being a top pick. I went AXP/Moose Racing for the quieter qualities of plastic, and have abused it quite a bit without any problems. I've heard people are having trouble sourcing barkbusters currently, I had no fitment issues with the Cycra Factory Pro Bend CRM 1-1/8 set of handguards if you are forced to look elsewhere. Cheers.

Glad you're keeping the FJR, great complement to the T7.  Oh, x3 on the Camel-ADV Gut guard and take a hard look at the HDB handguards.   The mirrors option is the bees knees!
