Looks good. But will it be fun to ride? You could get a lot of KTM for what that'll cost I'd bet.

I had R1200GS once. But I didn't used it properly ?

Scratched cylinder cover ...

but with wilbers suspension it was a joy to ride ...

I had an R80 G/S years ago, my only Beemer. I loved it, it wasn't perfect, flimsy forks and wet dirty legs whenever the road was wet, but it was fun, great for long rides, strapping gear to and camping, and though it was much heavier than any trail bike I had ridden you could take it up most trails, albeit at a modest pace. Now the modern boxer GS's are around 80KG heavier than that bike. I would consider any of the GS beemers bigger than the 100 as a touring bike that can handle dirt roads, way too big for my tastes for adventure, and rough tracks, unless you can really ride well. Sure, they would be nice though! On the highway!
