Is the R&G Downpipe Guard compatible with aftermarket skid plates?

Greetings, I was wondering if anyone has used the R&G Downpipe Guard with an aftermarket skid plate?  Specifically, I have the Camel Gut Guard skid plate. I looked for mounting instructions and videos for the R&G downpipe guard on the web but didn't find any useful information. The pictures I found  all show the OEM skid plate, so it isn't obvious whether or not if it will work with an aftermarket skid plate. Any help would be appreciated!
