Hi all! Just got lucky and snagged a new T700 that a dealer one town away got in stock last weekend. I’ve got a long background in racing motocross, just got into street riding about 5 years ago. I just plan to mainly ride street and explore gravel roads, with ambitions of doing a trip to Argentina one day in the not too distant future, and I feel like this bike will be perfect for that.

I own a 2015 MG Stelvio NTX and a 2017 KLR650, and the T700 fits right in the middle. I’ve already sold the KLR to a good friend and I’ll be selling the Guzzi next, as it seems redundant to own either of them when this Tenere is such a versatile bike. I haven’t been this excited about a new bike in a long time.

I’ve already ordered a bunch of parts to make it fit me better, and this winter will get more into it. Lower pegs, taller seat, stiffer springs, just mainly minor comfort items to ride out this season and then this winter I’ll get more involved with major upgrades such as Ohlins suspension, extra protection, luggage etc. I want to beef the bike up somewhat while being very weight conscious, do not want to turn it into a 500lb bike which could happen easily if one got carried away.
