Engine Break In - What your oil Looks like at 600 miles

Here is a video of my friends new T 700 break in oil at exactly 600 miles.  Based on its appearance, I am considering doing my first oil change sooner than 600 miles.

I did my first change at 100miles then at 600miles next one i will do at 2k and then normal intervals. I been doing this with al my new bikes and it's been working petty good for me

I always figured the engineers at Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, ect... were much smarter than me.

changed at first service then every 3000 mls after that. just had oil and filter at 12,000 mls.   no issues so far.

Did your oil look okay at first oil change?

no idea im afraid. dealer did first service. but the oil looked clear through the inspection window.    when changing the oil at 3000 mls ,the oil comes out quite dark/black. am using motul 10/40 semi.
