Does the T7 have a Tilt switch?

shovelhead43

Question

I recently had a discussion with an individual that made the comment “all fuel injected bikes have a tilt switch”

I question this because on many occasions my T7 has been laying on it’s side running

I think listed in parts catalogue (#22) and the service manual as "lean angle sensor"?

Low-sided in some mud the other day, and the bike shut off after several seconds.  I picked it back up and it would not start.  I cycled the key and it started right away.  Interesting that we have different experiences.

The tilt switch is on a time delay. My WR is the same way. Will run on its side for 2-4 seconds depending upon bike model, then will kill the ignition.

Same experience as o. After a low sider did not start. Cycled the key and started straight up again.

Wish I had a tilt switch for bike rallies. Would stop you falling in rivers after a few. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
