Just fitted a Pyramid Fender Extender which is keeping the engine a lot cleaner during this rainy season!

Looks good did you glue it on or use the fittings screws if you used glue which type 👍

I merely used the mountain of sticky pads that they provided in the kit which look like they'll hold it in place forever. They didn't supply any fitting screws with this one strangely enough.

How are your Pyramid fenda extendas holding up?

Do they really keep mud and dirt away from the engine heads and pipes? Just ordered one.

Mine does

i fixed it with black number plate bolts to attach, if it gets caught it just snaps the plastic bolts and not the guards

keeps the engine cleaner

Thats awesome to hear. Ive been getting crazy with the detail cleaning on my brand new T7. The engine gets really muddy and I shouldnt bother so much, but since its new, hehe.. The fender extender will give me some peace of mind.

Thanks!

Usually ABS pipe glue is recommended for adhesive applications.

You dont think the double sided adhesives and four screw are enough?

I had something similar on my BMW F800GS for 50K miles.  Never an issue w mud or anything else ripping it off.  Helps w the mud and debris a lot.

I’m sure it is when used together. I have had one fall off when using just the supplied tape. It took years to live that one down.

And why does one need this ugly mod?

If you don’t see the need, you don’t need the ugliness.
