Givi tanklock ring

Hi I’ve a 2020 Tenere and would like to use a Givi tanklock bag. Can someone clarify that Givi make an adaptor for the tenere. I read somewhere that they make one for the 2021 model on. Surely that model is the same. Hopefully someone can enlighten me

I guess you've learned way back that there is no givi tanklock option. I bought the SW Motech magnetic lock version. Expensive, but worth it imo. So much easier than a strap down job.

Givi does make an adaptor for the Tenere. The problem is it attaches to the gas tank cover itself. So when you drop your bike on the trails, if the bag is heavy enough, it can take the gas tank cover with it.

Aaaah, I maybe looked at what was available before givi produced this. I agree with the point about dropping the bike and ripping the tank cover off though, and believe the SW Mot version is a better bet.

I've got the givi one.....And I don't trust the 4 tiny bolt  that hold it on the gas cap. On the road it should be ok, but offroad It's think they would fail.
