Top Trumps on the T7 - how fast 0-62mph (100kmh) and back to a stand still - plus a standing quarter mile

A bit of fun and a way to test your braking skills from 100kmh

Ever played Top Trumps as a kid like me? I always ended up interested in how quick a vehicle can accelerate and it gave me the idea to do some braking practice too (always useful). It got me wondering how quick I could go from ZERO to 100 KMH AND BACK ON THE YAMAHA TENERE 700. Braking skills are awesome to practice and could come in handy if you need to pull on the anchors in anger. It's great to know the capabilities of your bike in case you need to use them.  Check out the link 🙂

I like to practice those skills on gravel roads.  Hammering the brakes on at 80 kph like you're trying to avoid a deer.   And I do this often to keep in shape.🙄

Thanks for the video.

That's a great tip mate for sure.  Takes some gonads to do it on gravel but it really shows just how much grip we actually have and how far we can rely on these amazing bikes when needed 🙂
