Hi guys,

Long time, no see.

After buying the first T7 in Norway in 2019, I sold it after a short period of time, since I also had a KTM 790 Adventure R at the time. I sold the 790, bought a 690 which I did a Rally conversion of, then bought a BMW F850GS, and now I am back in the Yammie-game again.

I bought this Rally back in August, with 9.500km on it. I have now passed 15.000km on it in the last two and a half month - safe to say I really enjoy this bike.

Looking at your accessories list it seems like you spent the price of 2 bikes 😁

Impresive lights!

Would you mind sharing a few close up pictures of the Baja squadron and the Led bar plus their mounting points??

Did they have any problems during "nap"?

I have a pair of denali d4 and trying to find optimal position..

Hi @Fabros,

welcome back again.

looking at the list of items one of the original spare parts caught my eye.

Original Yamaha R6 Throttle Tube

What is the purpose of this add-on and what are the (possible) benefits?

I ask this because I find the "blank" space between de zero gas response and the first take up, very big (euro5 model).  I hope I express it in a understandable way. Maybe thinking/hoping you are on to something here?

Cheers,

Ludo.

I got the bike for a hilariously good price with a lot of the upgrades already on it.

They are mounted on the Crash Bars with light mounts. Just like these:

Hi Ludo - The R6 Tube gives a shorter pull from zero to full throttle. It is a common modification in the FZ/MT community.

That's something I had never heard of but it sounds really interesting to me. I often felt like the OEM grip had a little too much travel. I'll check the price of this mod. Thanks a lot!

Hi @Fabros,

Thank you for your answer.

Might this also solve the throttle pick-up issue/gap which I described? Or is it purely the travel of the handle itself?

thank you again for your support.

Cheers,

Ludo.

Thanx for the info!

Looks what I am looking for since the tab to mount the light is sort and can be used vertically.

Any link or info on when to find them?

If you have too much play in the throttle, you should adjust the cables.

The R6 Tube simply just reduces the travel.

eBay, or Ali has them. Just find the right size for your crash bars. 🙂
