Acerbis 23L tank

At the end of November I was in the market for an Acerbis 23L tank. I couldn't find one in stock anywhere in the UK so after a conversation with Annette @ Rugged Roads, I bit the Bullet and ordered one from them being assured I will be sent one as soon as they received their next delivery which she hoped would be before  the end of December.

I wasn't that bothered if it rolled up this month as I've got plenty of other stuff to keep me busy but was pleasently surprised to receive an email on Monday saying my tank would be with me on Tuesday 😁

Sure enough, it was delivered yesterday and I am very pleased with it. On first inspection, it really is a well made piece of kit. I will post a few fitting pics in between eating mince pies over the next week.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎅🎅20211221_175435.thumb.jpg.691900cca223a629888b7f5682ea5771.jpg

They're a good lot at Rugged Roads for sure.

Still showing out of stock, so assume they had quite a few back orders to fulfil.

I've just discovered, in order to use a tank bag and not foul the vent tube, the locking cap had its own venting system, so I need to buy that.

Not a fan of carrying separate keys, but I do like my tank bag.

To be honest, I'm more gutted I'll have to stump up another fiver for Rugged Roads to post it 😆
