As a former Honda XR 600 and 650R owner i couldnt hold back to This Paris Dakar 80s gem!

 

cant help Loving the style of a robust bike equipped with 21 liter tank and golden rims!

 

1988 Suzuki DR 600s

 

Its in running condition. 45000km

/ 28000-ish miles 

 

In for some engine restore.


Transmission overhaul. Newer gears

piston and rebore new chains 

and gaskets. Head serviced.

FCR 39 carburetor 

 

hopefully it Will serve a good time of fun rides after completed restore!

Thats correct! Almost as good as injection with a nice FCR-Mx👌

I think the DR600 was/is the best adventure travelling bike. My brother and I had '89 DR's and used them for traveling all over the world. 216.000 km, no real problems, engines never opened! Mines is decorating my garden now...
