rear shock spring advice

Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with a new spring when lowering links are fitted?

I have 30mm Alt Rider lowering links. I am 165 lbs (75Kg) without gear. I like to ride offroad and I do want to do more overnight rides with some luggage.

My sag with zero preload is about 40%. So with any luggage on, I need to max my preload to get the right sag.

However with my offroad riding (no luggage), it doesn't take much of a jump to feel like i'm really bottoming out the rear suspension.

The Tenere is a bit soft from stock to begin with, but the lowering links definatley change the geometry. I can live with some compromise and i'm usually not overly sensitive to having the right settings. But for offroad riding it would be good to get some confidence in the rear end of the bike. Especially if i'm going to be adding luggage into the equation.

It seems from reading here that the 85 N/mm spring should help. I am short (5'7") so I still want the option to back off the preload so I can get the feet down easier for day to day riding. . So, I'm curious if there is any first hand experience with an aftermarket spring and lowering links?

@CamT  Try contacting @Ktmmitch at Rally Raid Products UK. They sell springs and lowering links for the T7 so should offer good advice. I found their recommendations for fork and spring rates to be just right. Note sometimes it takes them awhile to respond; small but busy company!
