Tenere Euro 4/5/UE/Japan - a bit lost, please help :)

Hi there

please kindly clarify what is commonly used sub-model names for different plant/year combinations for T7:

my one was made in Japan in 2020 and I am quite lost figuring out how sellers are calling  this model in their parts descriptions.

Is it the same as European one and also called "EURO-4"?

As far as I know, this should be the DM07 model (I think this means Euro4). Not 100% sure.

 

But in know for sure that the Euro5 models have a different exhaust design which is easily spotted. The cat sits in front below the radiator, see here:

Thus, EURO-4 or 5 is related only to emission class, not to European production plant, right?

 

This is how my T7' pipes look. I am wondering if I am safe to buy bashplate "for EURO-4 model" or not.

Correct! EURO4/5 only designates emissions. Your model is EURO4, so you have a wide choice of bashplates.
