I appreciate the video, vey helpful!  I used it to install mine today…. Question for you…the bar insert in my left side bar never fully tightened…. It seems to be in all the way but just turns…did yours fully tighten down?

That's strange, mine definitely tightened all the way. Does it look like the threads might have stripped out?

well, I swear I wasn’t drinking while doing the install but went back out today to investigate further…now it’s tight…. I can break it loose and re-tighten and it stops…. I don’t know what to think but thanks for the reply

Well this is weird, my kit didn't have the skid plates in it?

EDIT:  They are an optional extra it seems.

@MotoSouth Just, maybe, a ignorant question. But do all these accessories come included if you buy a (lets call it) "Barkbusters set" for a Tenere 700? I mean, like the adapter for the bar ends and stuff? I saw you need to choice the actual plastic protector and I already assumed the Loctite was not included . But I'm talking about all stuff to mount the thing.

The only piece that wasn’t included were the added skid plates that mount on the outer part of the aluminum bar. All the hardware was included. It doesn’t come with any tools.
