Gearing commander

Recommended Posts

I have used this for years and probably others have as well.  For those that have not take a look.

Great website where you can explore all the gearing changed you might be thinking of making to you ride.

Pick your bike at the top and it loads all the factory gearing.  Then select your proposed changes and it will calculate a stupid amount info like rpm changes at specific speeds for different sprocket sizes and tons more.

Also very helpful in seeing wheelbase changes and deciding chain lengths needed when dropping or adding teeth.

Almost everything can be looked at in graph form as well which can be useful at times.

I was using it today when thinking of making a gearing change and didn't remember seeing any mention of it on this site, so here it is.

Hope it can be of use to those in need.

Motorcycle speed and sprocket calculator with bike database for gearing, sprockets, tires and chains of over 1600 bikes. Request yours to be added as well.
