Tail light dis-assembly ?

Has anyone pulled the taillight assembly apart and took photos of the internal housing layout.  

I'm in the process of configuring an integrated signal and taillight, just trying to figure out my size constraints, didn't want to pull the whole light out while I monkey with this set-up. 

For that matter if someone has a spare housing, even if it's partially broke I'd buy it off you

Did you end up integrating the tail light with flashers?  I’m fixing to do the same thing.

I've got the electronic parts sitting at home but haven't gotten to it yet, been traveling for work and haven't had time.

I have no idea how to separate the red lens to get inside it?

I'm going to order a spare light to tinker with, it'll most likely have to be heated to separate the lens and at least if I screw it up I'll have a spare light, I get back from Spain next week and will start to play with it then, 

 

Looks like the tail light assembly is on back order and should ship to me the first week of June. So I can sit down and bread board this thing  first
