Frame painting quality

This phenomena has been posted elsewhere, I suspect they didn't clean the welds properly before they painted the frame.

Blame it on the war in the Ukraine, they are blaming everything on that now.

"Yamaha apologizes for the rust problem on 'some' of it's European made models.  This is a consequence of fallout from artillery shells dropped on the Donbass by Russian forces.  We are advising our customers to contact their parliamentarians and the United nations for a resolution to this matter."

Some guys are complaining of spokes/rims rusting, underside of tank rusting, little to no grease in rear suspension...

Just type in " rust" in the site's search bar and take a look.

I haven't seen it yet, but I have the Jap built bike (wink)

I can pick up my bike within two weeks....😁

How can I determine where it has been build?

My rear spokes are toast.  Most are quite rusty, but they get sand blasted daily as I ride a lot of dirt.  Since they are not stainless, I suppose the rust comes with the territory.  A little steel wool will shine them up if I was really worried about it.  Eventually I will go tubeless, and the problem will be moot if I install stainless spokes.
