Those geese end up coming North to where I live.  They nest and live in the water fowl areas near me.  Big birds that migrate a long distance.  I think I'll find a goose sticker and put it on my bike.

why do the US models have these ugly turn signals though?

EU models have them, too.

Unless you order a Rallye model (LED blinkers).

Replaced the rear spring with the Rally Raid 90NM for the OM bars, ride gear, and rider weight.  Went for a quick check ride in between rain squalls.

Build "completed" with the OM bash plate.  Like the better protection, the flat surface for jacking, and the black color.  Much better than the OE color, weight and shape.

Beautiful ride this morning up Flume Creek Road, clear all the way to the trailhead.  Lots of active logging.  Acerbis chain guard saved me when I snagged a 2" branch.  Next up is Salmo Mountain,  hoping it is clear next week.  Drove the Landcruiser up there today, but too much snow.

Had to turn around on my way up Harvey Creek Road towards Monumental Mountain.  Several down trees, likely from our recent wind storms.  Tried snowplowing unsuccessfully.  Not a great test of the crash bars- landed in soft, wet dirt.  A beautiful ride, especially on the return trip- feels like you are flying above the creek on the way back down Harvey Creek Road.

Another day, 'nother mountain.  Hall Mountain is an easy ride that offers some great views.  Only open from July 1st through August 15th.
