Low Profile Tank Bag

Tundratom

Recommended Posts

I would prefer to use one of the site’s vendors as I am looking for a very low profile tank bag. My main interest is a map window and not much more laying flat along the curved radius of the tank.

PS. Film protection for tank?  Thoughts?

Well as unpopular as it is on the AV forums, I added a Bagster tank cover.  It protects the tank and the 4 mounting points allow you to mix and match their bags.  I must confess though that the two forward mounts for bags are fouling on the BarkBuster mounts at full lock, I'll have to look into that...

But what when you do go offroad?
You can't imagine where the sand en mud goes and i'm 99% sure it will also get under the tank cover and suddenly you have a nice sanding machine wile riding.

Any tankbag could cause that sort of issue but the bagster cover fit's very snug, and doesn't move around like a traditional bag would.  In fact they would do more to protect your tank from damage in adverse conditions I believe.  Think about sand on your gloves, or on your pants where they press into the side of the tank, dragging the fuel cap or key across the tank.
