HP Course SP-1 exhaust leaking

ImpatientSteve

Question

I was wondering if any HP course SP-1 owners here experience the same leaking exhaust as shown below ?
Already kind of weird that they didn't supply any gasket material with the kit, but I'm thinking of just solving it by using the red silicone heat resistant gasket to see if it solves it.

Or if any of you might have a better suggestion ?

Grab some Permatex “The right stuff” sealant. It works way better then anything else. Does not blow out.  I use it on my two and four stroke pipes and never had a issue.

All the water from the Cat needs to drain somewhere. Especially with these high systems it runs back downhill. Stock can had that drain hole in it. My Camel pipe did the same thing even though I drilled a small hole at the low point.
Not sure if sealing them up tight is the best idea in the end. What becomes of the water if it can’t drain?

A wheelie  a day keeps the water away 😁
