I did, and there's a reason I didn't call it "a smart person's guide to weight loss".

This contraption actually saves you money in the long run since your bike will last longer as it doesn't have to chew on its own metal shavings anymore!!!

Voila! There you go, that is how you can sell it to your wife!

This is known to fit the 2022 T7 properly? Prices for these type of bolts are all over the map!

Hey, Husa. Yes they are, I would imagine prices are high/low depending on the source the reseller gets them from. 90% of the parts I carry come from KEDO HQ in Hamburg, Germany. With $10 for shipping these are pretty expensive, usually people pair it up with another purchase.

Guys be careful with these magnetic plugs:

  • They have shorter threads as the original plug
  • The T7 has an abnormally high torque spec of 43Nm I believe for this plug.

I stripped my case threads having used such a plug and tried tightening it to spec. If you are using this plug, make sure you:

A) Always use a new crush washer when putting the plug back.

B) Use less torque than specced, e.g. 30Nm vs 43Nm.

Just saying...

Thank you, Spuzvica. It seems as a lot of people are having issues with the drain plug going to factory torque specs.

Here is a great article covering it.
