Can believe it

popped to se my brother quickly and parked the bike - obviously didn’t put the stand down properly and it tumbled

scrathed the ‘elephant ear’ and bent the clutch lever

could have been worse I suppose

think it could be pained?

new pennal is not to expencive. but you have to sticker it your self..  and yes you can paint it. tough it would cost the same as a new one.

but i really wonder how your managed your clutch to bend forwards.

throw bark busters or acerbis hand-guards on and you wont have that again that quickly

personal preference is acerbis factor x guards..

I would run a strip of skateboard grip tape down both sides and make it look intentional.
Likewise, I’ve never seen a clutch lever do that, usually they shatter like glass and ruin your day.

Two finger clutch lever mod!!!

I had a similar experience recently - embarassing drop in my shed.

Don't worry, your bike may carry its scratches and dents with pride!

I seen more lever snap than bend...

but a little heat and a bit of leverage would be fine...

or more excuse to buy an aftermarket lever...(at least that is what I told my wife :P)

I know how you feel Lewie,

Did the same with mine, caught the stand as I got off!

No damage done apart from a graze on the crash bars.

I just tell everyone it needed a rest after a morning out!

Ouch

maybe I should invested in some bars

ive contacted a local guy in a decal shop - think he’s going to create something (matching the colours) to cover the damage

Patent lever ordered from rugged road (£11 inc) - Yamaha original was £44 + vat

OMG! is it dead 🙂

Seriously, every bike over 2 weeks old has some marks or scuffs, or you aren't riding it. Relax and enjoy riding the bike, don't worry about cosmetics...... It's a Dirt Bike!

Lmao I put mine on its side in grass as I unloaded it from my truck after buying it. Luckily I didn't get a single scratch or mark just hurt my pride. Your clutch lever though looks identical to my son's ttr 110 yamaha.  Not sure of any tips to fix that as I heated his then snapped it trying to straighten it out

@Lewie I think you made the best out of it. It seems ho just meet the design as if it should be like that 👍
