Stock handlebar thread size?

Henchman

Question

Good day!...I've removed my stock bars that had barkbusters installed with threaded inserts. I like this attachment method as I think it's much stronger. So I'll need to tap my new bars and am wondering if anybody can tell me the threaded insert size of the stock bars? I'm having a hard time finding anybody who can do the job so knowing the size would help me lots.

I've searched around but can't find anything specific.

Thanks

BRP Threaded Bar Inserts ... are a more secure mounting system for aluminum handlebars using wrap-around style enduro hand guards. They are sold as a self install kit that includes two inserts, two flathead bolts to mount your...

Here is another option I just mounted this up on a new KTM, went very well.

I dug up some specs on the thread sizes:

The inserts are 5/8-11, or OD = 15.78mm (Crest to crest), ID = 13.51mm (Root to root).

The bolts are M8x40 with 1.25 thread pitch (which are probably the same as the standard barkbuster offering I am guessing).

Location: Central Ontario, Canada

Message me if you are close - let's go riding!

I may have to go this route if I can't find out the stock insert size and more importantly somebody who's got the tool.  As said above, I've got the inserts but need to know which tappet size to use on the new bars.
