Rear brake pedal install

I removed my rear brake pedal on my ‘21 t7 and cannot figure out how to reinstall!

I can’t seem to get the bolt and the spring to line up and reassemble.

Can anyone offer some help?

We’ll, I wasn’t smart enough, nor were the technicians at the dealership.

but when my wife gave it a look she was able to point out that we were trying to put the pin in the wrong hole!

she was right and a seemingly impossible job became easy.
