Get a grip

I don't want nor need heated grips, but I need something better than OEM. Anyone found any moto-style grips that are extra wide like the OEMs? I like the ODI grips that come stock on late model euro dirtbikes, but they are about an inch shorter than what comes on the T7.

AME MX Round grips were already on my T7 when I bought it used, and I liked them so much I reinstalled them over the grip heating elements I put on the bike (small diameter, soft and grippy). I guess they're the same length as the OEM grips, because the right side covers the OEM throttle tube fine.

Progrip 714s have always been my go to, on my DR I cut the end off the grip for the handguards, but on the T7 this makes them too short as you mentioned. So I just cut the diameter of the bars out of the end and kept the length and they fit fine....., if that makes sense to you

Side-by-side comparison of the AME MX Round and Progrip 714 if it helps anyone. I had these 714s on my DR650 many years ago and they were very comfortable; I only changed them out because I prefer a smaller diameter grip.

That's what I wanted to see. I've ran the 714s before and liked them, but they are too big on diameter.

The AME Round MX grips were already on my T7 when I bought it, but their website shows an online store that may work for you.

EDIT  - Just saw this under Contact Us on the AME website: For international Orders please call: +1 702-835-0681 or email: orders@griposusa.com
