Removal of louvers

I was wondering if anyone has removed these louvers for increased air flow through the fairings?

Hey Black Dog,

 

No overheating yet, hottest it’s reached was 217F. Going to flash the ECU after the warranty for fan to kick on earlier. Just trying to improve air flow for cooling . Probably shouldn’t F with it, seeing as the engineers designed it that way?

Pol Tarrés just rode the Rodeo and his are still in. I’d imagine it will be fine for the rest of us.

I discovered the louvers function when I mounted bags to my crash bars. They direct hot air down and out so they don't hit your legs. Once you mount bags on the crash bars, the hot air just gets funneled directly to your knees and thighs.
