ERR code on dash

Chowfang

Question

Hi all, I'm new here. Thanks in advance for any responses to my question.  I got a T7 about 3 months ago, it's a little modified. Has an exhaust slightly re-routed, no plastics, modified gas tank, upgraded rear shock and some missing turn signals.  I've been riding it a few times a week about 50-50 on the street and in the dirt. It has about 1500 miles on it.

I was camping last weekend and I got this error code (pic attached).  the bike was off when I took the photo, so the oil pressure light does turn off when I start it but the ABS and ABS off lights stay on. the message went away after about 10 minutes of riding. Do you guys know what this means? Thanks a bunch,

Look on Page 8-80 of the service manual for a description.

Err is an actual EVENT CODE (U0115) and basically refers to a lack of communication between the ecu and the display unit.  Poor connection or short circuit.

If everything is fine now I would guess possibly something as simple as a loose/poor connection between ecu and display.  I would double check all connections are fully seated and hopefully you don't have this again.

There a re several steps of things to check in the service manual so have a look on Pg 8-80.
