Anyone familiar with Morocco?

Hi all, we would love to have a self sufficient T7-er who knows Morocco (or Sahara) join us on a short visit to Mauritania in March.

Me on an AT; other Brit 12GSA; maybe a 790. 
Big twins: will make a good story and maybe a vid.
Non-Brit - no probs.

 

Because all these bikes are tanks and it’s late in the season, we’re keeping it simple after the long road ride to RIM (which can get too sandy for big motos).

No radical crossings, just a few juicy POIs out of Atar.

 

We meet in Sidi Ifni, early March.

How did you guys get on; did Covid-19 kill your trip?

 

I'm planning on doing a doing a 10 day trip in Morocco in May or Sept 2021 with an XT660 friend who's been there before and knows a great figure of 8 route.
