Running De Cat Header with ECU flash

Dirtbandit

Question

Hello,

So I received the Black Widow De cat header pipe and a 40mm Huzar muffler for the T-700. The instructions from Black Widow say  "before commencing work, ensure the bike has been recently serviced and the air/ fuel setting are stock". Seems weird to me, as I feel the bike would be too lean? I was going to use the stock 02 sensor and was wondering is the stock tune could compensate for the free flowing exhaust. I do plan on getting the ECU flashed by 2 wheel dyno works as soon as possible.

TIA

Dane

Your bike wont run dangerously lean ....but you wont benefit from the increased power the decat headers will provide if you dont tune to add fuel and or timing.

the buke will run pretty much the same as stock powerwise but will run slightly leaner/hotter as well you may get backfiring on decel and weaker throttle response

you will be very satisfied with the 2WD ecu flash😎

im running the full BW exhaust and 2WD flash and the bike runs simply amazing
