So I finally got to meet a Tenere in person.   It is 'tippy toe' tall for me, I'm 5'11"  and 180 lbs.  I take it as a personal challenge to get out of my comfort zone and learn to ride a taller / top heavy bike......  because I know what the reward will be <c:

 

Went to my local dealer and put my name on the waiting list...  this one was not for sale.

That's really exciting! Having been reading up for the last six months, and sitting on one as you have done, I'll be transferring the deposit I have sitting on a Norden to a Tenere this weekend - probably for delivery some time next decade! Hopefully you don't have to wait for too long.

Yikes.  Very strange.  I'm 5'7"/30" inseam and I have the same problem.  However we must have similar inseams because the picture of your feet looks exactly like mine.

I'm number two on a list hear in WA State, so hope for delivery before this fall.  My solution is going to be to buy the lower seat, and put elevator pads in my boots to push my heals closer to the ground.

Do not want to add larger dogbones to lower the bike.  Ground clearance is very important to me.

Also am going to add Alpina tubeless wheels.  Damn the cost.

Niceee. I just made a booking for a Tenere 700 in Blue 2022 model as well. I am a 5 "11 in height as well. I am def going to go for the lowering kit route.

I waited 2yrs until a dealer in state had one. That wasn't pre sold. Same colors as one your sitting on.

I’m 5’7”/30” inseam.  Bought boots with taller heals and will get seat lowered at a custom seat place.  Just took delivery of a blue 2022 T7.    Remember, lowering bike will reduce ground clearance accordingly.
