Encountered some retro dirt riders

Out the other day in the back of the scenic rim I came back home through Aratula and came across a group of mostly older dudes from Ipswich who regularly ride together on old 80's and 70's Honda 500 and 250 XL's,  and one yammie 🙂

An interesting crew, though I didn't talk long with them.  They ride the rougher stuff they said, typically roads and trails my T7 wouldn't be practical for.  At least not with me in the saddle.  That day they'd been up to Spicers gap, a road I passed on my way and almost turned up.  I'll go there this week though I might take the 250 up, just in case.

Almost didn't even notice your T7, it blended in so well with the 70's retro speed stripes! 😉

Super picture.

I love those old air cooled bikes.

Low seat heights, 300 pounds

Dated suspension but you can trudge them thru most anything!
