Thanks Checkyour6 for starting the suspension thread. I’ll be referring back to it. I just finished installing my 95 Nmm RR spring on my bike.  I was really pleased on the straight forward removal and install. I also did my linkage lube while I had the bike up and apart.  The needle bearings

were not lubed enough, and the bushings (on the bearing side) and bolts had early corrosion.

Anyone have experience with Tusk bash plates and lifting bike? I took it off so I could raise the bike by the doily sized patch (about 3.5” x 6” irregular shape) C9AE6962-58F1-4522-B87C-A66D762A6466.jpeg.986674931b042a2f383885c164c6dd44.jpegof engine and the machine kept wanting to pivot. The fit between bash plate and bottom of motor is too tight for a piece of wood and the exhaust hangs below the faux frame and the bottom of the oil sump. Not sure what else to do. Thoughts?
