Sena 50S Harmon Kardon microphone

Tried to call my wife with my new Sena 50S Harmon and all she could hear was "static and wind noise" as she described it.

On the Sena 50S is was very obvious which direction the microphone would point towards your mouth.

On this microphone, both sides of the mic look exactly the same, so I'm wondering how do I figure out which side to place towards my mouth?

Unless it's designed so it doesn't matter due to noice cancellation etc?

The new 50S Harmon Kardon microphone doesn't have a fin.  That's the problem, it's completely different.  I finally figured out how to call Sena and they told me that it's unidirectional, which I think is a really bad idea for a motorcycle microphone.

Do you have the foam piece on the mic? Makes a difference.
