Someone told me once that "A dirty filter does a better job of filtering", maybe that was your buddy...

I looked at him and said something to the effect of, "Did you get dropped on your head as a kid?!". Ā We've got lots of bonding through shared suffering on miserable (fun) rides over last couple of yearsĀ šŸ™ƒ

The other side of the filter was spotless, as was the inside of the air filter housing.

@RedneckjĀ same here - snorkel removed and Twin Air pre-filter installed.Ā  My stock filter still looks new inside and out.Ā
