I’m becoming attached to my T7

So I grabbed the tenere for an over the winter commuter , and this week she has proven to me what a brilliant bike they are . I have travelled in minus 7c , -6c , -4c . Horrendous ice , snow on ice , the lot . Yet this morning with last nights snow , silly ice underneath , I think it was minus 6 again. I got her out of the garage , fired up and off we went , I chatted away to the bike as we went along , the headlight is awesome and the country lanes looked amazing . The bike did it all , all week , so so easy , she’s soooo smooth and I find myself really liking the T7 as a daily work horse with added bonus of being able to go off road too . I have on order for the first of March , an MT09 , and to be honest , at the moment , I’ll stick with T7 , it’s blooming awesome , it really is . By Monday we are plus 12c , so next week she’ll get a super wash cos she’s white with salt

It was instant appreciation for mine when i picked it up as well. One of the great machines out right now for ones really needing a super versatile machine. A change of tires and you can go from long distance or commuting to pretty serious off road adventures. Ride the hell out of it.

I got the week off between Xmas n new year , so looking forward to some muddy off roading , a comment I now use to many is …. With a road bike , you pick your lines , with the tenere , you can just use them all . Some salty photos , she’s getting a bath next week . Actually looks worse in real life . A29FD719-301E-453A-AAA3-889A0CABB555.jpeg.69e432e36fcb2228ba7421f7180d387c.jpegCA71D51B-A370-4297-B319-A1AAB37D3ABC.jpeg.b2dc4b1eb0c89ccd42f0f5ef1d1f2431.jpegF70BD1D8-E9B5-4CCC-AAB7-B51590795794.jpeg.454030e3da9763a829b4913351629dcd.jpeg

I fitted some add ons, like pivot pegs and short Evo levers and that really personalized the bike for me.  When the riding is simple you can really focus on such extras and appreciate how much they improve the riding experience.  The suspension upgrade was a good move too, I had found it a little hard on the rear and dropped the damping 2-clicks and now it's perfect across the potholes and ridges.  I couldn't imagine riding another bike on long travels, any other bike.
