Oem rear rack & Adventure-Spec

Dear ones,

have any of you managed to mount the original Yamaha rear rack with the Adventure-Spec side luggage rack?

My have a good chance to work but will stick out more and possibly need to re-work the bottom mount. (Don't personally own one, I Just have quick look)

The main issue with the AS rack is they've designed it with offset mounts to fit their own rear rack. 

 

Being Alu bending them is likely to be too much of a pain. 

 

The R&G soft luggage rack can be made to fit but you'll have to make up a bracket for the front mount. I haven't had my hands on the Rally Raid racks to confirm, but looking at their spec, they'll likely fit too, with a little bit of ingenuity.
