Has anyone ever custom made a plate to mount your speedo cluster and a GPS or phone side by side? I'm looking for something along the lines of the Twalcom or Motology films bracket.

I have!

Made from 6061-T6 aluminum plate, it was inspired by the Motology bracket, but lacks the upper "anti-bobble" attachment points. 

It survived the Smokey Mountain 500 with no significant problems, though I'm having an issue finding lever guards that will provide sufficient protection that won't also punch a hole in the dash.
