Deceleration popping

The Dan

Question

Hello

Has anyone made changes to their T7 to stop the exhaust popping when the throttle is shut off on deceleration.

I'm thinking it's a air induction system into the exhaust for emissions control.

Any advice on if it's possible to disconnect ?

Cheers

Are you running an aftermarket exhaust? I can hear mine doing it with a standard exhaust but it's not very noticeable or annoying but I can see how it would be if it was louder.

Why worry. Correct it is the secondary air induction system. I’d advise to leave it as is. I like it.

I like it too. Sounds even better with a race end can on it coming down the gears. Bam, bam, buuurb, etc

Thanks guys

I had the same issue with my 660 and with an aftermarket pipe it didn't sound good, I stopped the air induction on it and it sounded sweet.

Thought it was the same on my T7.

It's still got the stock pipe, don't get me wrong I love this bike, it's awesome.
