Hello From Ireland

Good morning and hello from Ireland

 

I am just in the process of getting a new tenere 700. They have a deal on the 2022 bikes for i am looking at getting the dealer discount

 

My only jobs to do once i find the money for it is look at best options for

 

- seat for 2 up, possibly uk company cool covers and seat joiner. be on a rare occasion I'd go 2 up just my son is eager go with me

- exhaust hangar mod

- water pump protection

- engine / side panel protection possibly the heavy duties one.

Welcome John.....I think we may have met at a GSer's meeting in the past. You're gonna love the T7.

I know the name and yes we have met on few events i believe

 

i just hope they have a blue one in stock in the morning when ring

AXP bash plate also protects the water pump.

Rally Raid side luggage racks and tail rack weigh 5.1kg but they have a stabilizing bracket to the exhaust hanger which provides decent support.

AdventureSpec crash bars are 2.5kg I think.

Yes I like their plate as its also plastic so less noise transferred up from engine

 

going to have to decide if want rear racks, be using soft luggage and maybe a pillion so have see if I want racks or not.

 

 

Has anyone used the "HeavyDuties.ro" crash bars. their lower units look nice

I think their great, light and low and it keeps de bike slim.

When you fall on something uneven you still might break the plastic but the high bars also have room enough to let things through.

that's my taught too, stones and rocks will still pierce the plastics

 

we need a set of rad braces similar to enduro bikes that fit behind plastics

yep I'm on few site, put bikes aside for 2 years while i built a house so back now.

 

waiting on dealer to see if he can get a blue one. black are in stock but i prefer the blue
