Connecting my T7 WR via the my ride

Having trouble connecting my T7 via the Bluetooth to the Yamaha my ride app ? 
set a default bike , used Vin and tried the QR code , neither is working? 
many ideas ?

Had the same problem when I got my World Raid new. Turns out the communication module under the seat wasn't connected by the dealer. Worth checking...
