I have some Heavy Duties Enduro bars on order

Does anyone know what sump guards will fit with these bars?

- Touratech look like may fit and there is TT dealer in Ireland fi could ask if could test one

- Also the Acerbis is cheap and look like a mid way between a decent alu plate and stock one. Just not sure if its Euro 5 fitmament

Acerbis Yamaha XT 700 Z Ténéré, skid plate - motoin.de

Heed plate looks low enough around the sides.  Might email them and see, don't like the lip at rear looks more like would cause it to snag or hook up than slide over anything

Hard to tell,

i do like the price too of the Advspec plate

Looks longer more than higher and less streamlined

That will easily be massaged. Just a mallet and a sandbag or other soft base, just like i did.

Edit: On my site ride4life.nl you can find a blog where i mention it.

I have also the low Heavyduties crashbar. And the stock Yamaha (Rally edition) skidplate.

The aluminium of the stock skidplate is really soft. Just take an simple jigsaw with a blade for steel cutting, and just simply saw-out the part that blocks the bar.

The cuts are in this material are nice. And even if you don't like it, most of the edges are, after installation, almost invisible because of the positions of the crashbar.

The part that has to be cut is approximately as the red dots I've drew on the computer. I am not near my bike at the moment, if else I would have shot better pictures if the part that I have cut.

Ps. I don't think it affects the structural strength of the skid plate a lot.(at all)
