Getting ready to replace my chain after 13k miles.  It's got more life in it but I have a 7000 mile trip planned this spring and want to be cautious.

 

The T700 is the biggest bike I have owned.  On my other bikes (dirt/dual sport) I have run clip style masterlinks on the chain.  Any issue with running a clip on a bigger bike like the T700?  I prefer them because of the easy of repair while on a trip.
