Hey Folks,

my first Bike was an old XT600E, which I sold after buying an other bike. I soon realised that life without an XT is possible but rather senseless, which is why I then bought my first Ténéré (XT600Z 3AJ).

This is a good bike, but I sometimes don't want to ride an oldtimer - the bike is as old as me an has covered 100'000km.

When the new T7 was announced, I immediately wanted to have it. All published pictures were just amazing. At the InterMot Show in Cologne, Yamaha folks told me to wait for Bologna for the T7 to be officially announced for pruduction. I told them I need that bike now, because I have allready made the reservation for my personnalized numberplate.

When the bike was shown in Bologna, I mailed to my local dealer to get it for me. When I lastly was in his shop, he presented me to the Yamaha Sales representative as being the first customer to buy the T7 from his shop and I was most likely the first one to get it in my country...

I'm perfectly happy with it, it does everything the exact way I expected !

Now, I have added some SW Motech stuff for travelling and an automatic chain oiler.
