Could anyone please confirm whether the T700 has a factory fit immobiliser in the UK (or indeed the YISS), as its a requirement for insurance renewal on my T7 and I can’t find anything official anywhere to confirm. I am pretty sure the ignition key  has a coded chip.

Yes in Ireland mine is fitted with a factory imobiliser and the programmable key

Yes although I don't think it's called yiss anymore,  just had the same with my insurance renewal. Extract from service manual

Mines got a blinking red light on it that I've the insurance is an immobiliser.....Good enough
