Front wheel drag after tyre change

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I left bike in to have Tyres changed and noticed a vibration in way home.
I balanced  the rear wheel properly at home so took off the old weights.

the main issue is I jacked up the front end and the Fri t wheel will not rotate at all freely. It needs a good spin and stops immediately. I hear a drag on tne callipers.

sbout to loosen callipers. Any ideas?
should it spin more free. Off to Spain in a couple days, only have today to fix the problem

many thanks in advance

This happened to me once after a tyre change. I had put the wheel back in the wrong way.  Worth checking ABS ring is on the left.

You’re right. set the caliper clearance.

@Mixy. Here's a discussion on that issue that might help you.  Loosening the axle and putting the front suspension through a few strokes seems to help.
