looking for a better rear rack, to support the reckless 80 naturally and to be able to use it to pickup the bike with one hand on the handlebar and one on the rear rack.

thank you!!

It doesn't been called a rackless bag for nothing. You juts need to have something at the back to strap it to.
if you're affraid of scratches just put some protective film on the rear panels.

if want support for it then i would go this setup, mini rack and lower crash bars

however maybe worth doing at Ray says and try it without the rack fitted as should sit closer tot he bike then

Carry soft-luggage on the tail of your Tenere, whilst maintaining its slim and sharp look, with our light-weight and functional top luggage rack.

Protect your Tenere from drops and crashes during your offroad tours with these sharp-looking crashbars!

I went with the Black Dog Cycle Works Helo Pad rear rack.  Designed to clip in just like the pillion seat does and works great with my Reckless 80.

Not worried about scratches. I had this rack installed before i bought my bags, so i just went with it but its not working well.

i need something else that i can still grab on to when i pick my bike up, so the rear cargo minimalistic wont work for me because they will break on the first time i pick up my bike and grab onto them

im thinking either Outback motortek or Rally raid rear racks.

check out the multiple pics in this thread

That leaves me with nowhere to grab for picking up my bike

remove the current rack,

if luggage is sitting on pillion seat then rear grab hand moulded points should still be useable just before tail light

Theres no grip there i’d rather have something that works 100% of the time

By grip you mean wet or muddy it’s not easy grab it?

then I’d suggest pick set the crash bars listed above that take the shape of the rear plastics and also act as grab rail

any rails on seat area will push the panniers off

Regarding the racks you linked , issue I see is no lateral bracing

in a drop you either bend brackets into the plastics or bend the frame at the threaded mounting point

If fitting that sort system then just sell the mosko moto and buy a pannier rack and soft bags attached

True, but if you're running a reckless 80, you've already got nowhere to grab on to back there to begin with to pick up the bike. 🫠

Here's an option that might work for you.

Mosko moto Reckless 80 Revolver (V3.0) on Yamaha Tenere 700 with Perun moto Top luggage rack, Side carriers and Tie-down brackets.

Just because the bag is designed to work without a rack. The rigid rear fender panels were not designed to take the dynamic weight of bags on it.

Had no problems with that.
