Grease for air filter?

Hello. I purchased an aftermarket air filter for the T 700. I’ve read a couple times that it’s wise to apply a little bit of grease along the rubber gasket. What type of grease should I use for that? Thank you.

The general purpose grease you use for wheel bearings, axles, & pivot points will be fine.
